History
     
Thailand  Association  for  Printing  Technology  Promotion  was  formed  in  1975  and  registered  at  The  Police  Department  in  1985,  by  the  approval  of  The  Education  Department  under  the  objectives  to  be  the  center  of  research  and  discovery  concerns  printing industry.  Also  to  disseminate  knowledges,  liaison  with  pre – press,  press  and  after – press  experts.The  Key ot the emerging  the  idea  were  Mr. Samraoy  Pansri,  Mr.Preecha  Junjumbog, Mr,Boonthi  Bhuthaprasert And  had  Mr.Samraoy  Pansri and  Dr.Vichai Payackso as  the  director  in  1981 – 1985  and  1985 – today.  The  implementation was at the Institute Of Technology,  Nanglinchee  Rd.,  Toongmahamek  and  used  as  Head  office  until  Jun  3,  1998  After  the  association  was  successfully  collected  enough  funds  to  build  permanent  Head  office at  Thailand Association for Printing Technology Promotion Office until today.

Past  Performances
1.  Distance  Learning  for  pre – press  and  press  technicians  projects,  funded  by  the 
*  MITI  and  the  Japan  Association  of  Graphic  Art  Technology,  to  support  about  10,000  trainee  during  1983- 1995   
*  Co – established  The  Printing  Industry  Federation  in  1994.
*  Co – to  established  The  Forum  of  Asian  Graphic  Art  Technology  (FAGAT)  with  Japan,  Korea,  China,  Malaysia  and  Philippines  in  Tokyo  in  1996.
* Center  by  name  of  the  Federation,  to  organized  FAGAT  at  National  Connection  Center  in  1998.
* Chairman  of  The  Sub – committee  in  determining  National  Labor  Standard  (off – set printing)  from  2005 – current
*  Coordinate  in  publishing  Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s  50th  Birthday  Anniversary  water – painting  collection  to  raise  funds  for  and  for  the Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Federations.
*  Arrange  In – House  Training  for  members  to  develop  printing’s  technician  skills.
*  Fund – raising  campaign  to  buy  land  for  the  Federation  in  2004.
